Meet Jessica…

Jessica Gallo is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who offers therapeutic services at her private practice located in Santa Monica. She has been providing clinical therapy and supportive services for children, adolescents, and parents for over 10 years in various settings. She is passionate about empowering individuals from all walks of life to cope, grow, and tap into their inner resiliency. Her approach is authentic, nurturing, client-focused, direct, creative, culturally competent, holistic, strengths-based and mindful. She strongly believes in the healing power of developing healthy and secure interpersonal attachments, which informs all aspects of her work. Creating a safe, empowering, nurturing, contained space is at the foundation of her practice.

Jessica brings a wealth of dynamic clinical skill and knowledge to serve her clients. She earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work & Pupil Personnel Services Credential from the University of Southern California with a concentration in Children & Families and sub-concentration in School Social Work. Through her education combined with extensive professional experience in non-profit and school settings, she developed an expertise in child and adolescent issues, women’s issues, healthy parenting, and interpersonal trauma work. Her work supporting women and partners with their transition into motherhood/parenthood grew out of the clear connection observed over the years in her work between a healthy mother and healthy child, as well as, the transformative experience of becoming a mother herself. She has provided individual, group, and family therapy and served as the Program & Clinical Supervisor for several years at Margaret’s Place. During her career, she has developed and facilitated psychoeducational workshops and support groups for adolescents, parents, and teachers. Additionally, she has been invited to guest lecture several times at her alma mater, The USC School of Social Work, as well as speak at professional conferences, such as The Institute on Violence, Abuse, and Trauma Conference. Currently, she also offers her services as a primary and group therapist at Resolutions Teen Center.
